The Specialty Diamond GB1Q Glass Grinding Bit (1" × 80 grit) is built for stock removal, shaping, profiling, and hole drilling in glass, stained glass, tile, stone, and other hard materials. With its medium 80-grit surface, it balances efficient material removal with smooth edge finishing, making it suitable for both shaping and detail work. The bit is constructed from a single-piece brass body that resists fatigue cracking during high RPM use and vibration. A specialized bonding process secures multiple layers of diamond to extend wear life and maintain consistent results. Uniform diamond bonding helps prevent chipping and provides control when working on delicate or thin materials.
