The MLCS 9630 Cast Iron Router Table Extension is designed to mount between 27-inch table saw rail systems to create a rigid and integrated routing platform. It expands routing capability by providing a full 27 inch by 16-inch machined cast iron surface that supports controlled edge routing, jig use, and repeatable stock positioning. The 1-3/4-inch-thick cast iron top weighs approximately 50 pounds and is machined flat to maintain stability and reduce vibration during routing operations. A 3/8-inch-thick phenolic insert plate with two removable rings creates three opening sizes and accepts guide bushings, while magnetic retention, leveling screws, concentric centering rings, and a steel starting pin support accurate installation and controlled routing. Designed for permanent installation and compatible with common router motors, this extension delivers stable and repeatable routing performance for cabinet shops and serious woodworking applications.
