The 18V Metabo SCV 18 LTX BL 1.6, Cordless BRUSHLESS 16 Gauge Metal Shear is German engineered and manufactured for durability, safety, and productivity. The powerful brushless motor technology paired with a high-quality cutter head produce a maximum cutting speed of 23 ft/min and allows for spark-free cuts in up to 16-gauge sheet metal. The variable speed dial at the back of the tool allows for cutting speeds to be adjusted infinitely to achieve higher accuracy specific to each material. The cornering ability for notches and interior cut-outs result in precision work with a smallest curve radius of 5/8”. The blade spacing can be adjusted to different sheet thicknesses and is comprised of two (2) tungsten carbide four-way reversible cutters for highest cut quality also allowing a clear view of the cutting line. The integrated chip deflector protects the user’s hand providing maximum safety in every cutting direction. Additional features include a die-cast aluminum gear housing that stabilizes the high-quality cutting mechanism to ensure precision, durability and efficient power transmission; slim grip for maximum comfort, as well as electronic overload protection to significantly increase the tool’s service life. The package includes a feeler gauge, (2) reversible tungsten carbide cutters, (2) hex wrenches.
