The mower features a plastic deck for lower weight, reduced push force, and easy transport. It also offers ease-of-use features including quick height adjustments, a 2-bushel capacity grass collector, and folding handles for compact storage. For added versatility, it has a 3-in-1 design that allows for mulching, bagging, or rear discharge.

The Lawn Mower features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™). XPT™ is a protective seal inside the tool and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. It also features IPX4 weather-resistant construction for durability and long life.
