The Makita® 18V LXT® Brushless Cordless Vacuum (XLC03ZBX4, tool only) is a compact and powerful cordless vacuum with strong suction for fast and efficient cleaning. The vacuum can be used with trigger mode or slide switch mode for ease and convenience. Compact and ergonomic design for operator comfort and, at 2.7 lbs., is lightweight for reduced operator fatigue. A bagless cloth filtration system allows for easier cleaning and quicker debris disposal. The powerful Makita-built motor delivers up to 49 CFM. The vacuum and included nozzle and attachment feature the distinctive teal and black trade dress.

STAR is communications technology that monitors conditions during use, allowing the tool and battery to exchange data to protect against overloading, overdischarging and overheating. If STAR detects conditions that threaten to overload, overdischarge or overheat the tool or battery, the tool will automatically stop. At that time the user can either restart the tool, change or charge the battery, and put the tool back to work. When you slide a Makita 18V LXT® battery with the STAR symbol onto a Makita tool that has either the STAR symbol or a yellow terminal, you are benefitting from STAR Protection Computer Controls™.
