The 40V max XGT® Brushless 4-Speed Impact Driver (GDT02Z) breaks new ground for the most demanding driving applications in wood, masonry, and metal. The 4-Speed Impact Driver features a digitally controlled Tightening Mode (T-mode) for faster tightening of self-drilling screws which helps prevent damage to the screw or workpiece.

It is powered by a Makita-built brushless motor that delivers 1,860 in.lbs. of Max Torque, outpowering other impact drivers in heavy-load applications. An ultra-smooth variable speed trigger provides optimum control. Users get 4 speed settings (0-1,100/ 0-2,100/ 0-3,200/ 0-3,700 RPM & 0-1,400/ 0-2,600/ 0-3,600/ 0-4,100 IPM).

This impact driver is a workhorse tool engineered to outlast with Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) to provide increased dust and water resistance in harsh job site conditions. Reinforced gear housing provides additional durability on the job site.

Convenience features include a compact length at only 4-3/4" which makes it ideal for working in tight spaces. The GDT02Z features a reinforced gear housing engineered for maximum job site durability. It features two LED lights for increased job sight visibility.

XGT is a system of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers utilizing 40v max lithium-ion batteries. XGT is engineered to deliver high power to take on high-demand applications, allowing users to completely transition to a cordless job site.
