The Makita Guide Rail Kickback Reduction Stopper (1913J9-2) is for use with the Makita 118” Guide Rail (194367-7, sold separately), the 55" Guide Rail (194368-5 sold separately), 39" Guide Rail (199140-0, sold separately). The 1913J9-2 can be attached to plunge saw guide rails to reduce and dampen potential kickback during cutting. It installs easily onto the base of Makita Plunge Saws or Circular Saws that have a Guide Rail Compatible Base (all sold separately). The Guide Rail Kickback Reduction Stopper can be installed onto compatible saws when not in use.
