The Hydro Handle HH78BIT 7/8" Electroplated Diamond Bit is engineered for drilling precise holes in tile, glass, porcelain, marble and other hard materials. This size is commonly used for shower mixer valves, conduit holes and accessory mounts in tile and stone installations. Its electroplated diamond coating provides a sharp and uniform cutting edge that delivers smooth holes while preventing chip-out on brittle surfaces. Engineered side holes channel water to the cutting edge and remove slurry to improve cooling, while the lathed one-piece steel body resists stress and vibration during high RPM use. The drill bit achieves maximum speed and life in water-feed setups while also providing dependable results in dry drilling when required.
