The Hydro Handle HH516BIT 5/16" Electroplated Diamond Bit is designed for drilling accurate holes in tile, glass, porcelain, marble and other hard materials. This bit is ideal for installing anchors, fittings and hardware where accuracy is critical. Its electroplated diamond coating provides a sharp and uniform cutting edge that produces smooth holes while preventing chip-out on brittle surfaces. Engineered side holes channel water across the cutting edge and remove slurry to improve cooling during operation, while the lathed one-piece steel body resists stress and vibration under high RPM use. The drill bit achieves maximum speed and life in water-feed setups while also providing dependable results in dry drilling when required. Built with an 8 mm round shank, it fits universally in 3/8" and 1/2" drills for direct compatibility on the jobsite.
