The tool accepts DEWALT U-Type dies (sold separately) and has a capacity from #8 - 600 MCM Cu / #8 - 350 MCM Al. Its 180-degree pivoting head and inline body enable maneuverability into tight spaces for one-handed operation. Crimp Connect software provides detailed reports of successfully completed work. An integrated LED interface displays power, cycle status, and tool recalibration or service notifications, while a bright LED ring illuminates dark working areas. The crimper includes a shoulder strap for easy transportation and utilizes the DEWALT 20V MAX battery system, joining 300+ products in the 20V MAX lineup for demanding trades.
