The Big Horn 19323 Duplex Rabbet & Fillister Plane is a classic No. 78-style hand plane designed for cutting rabbets, fillisters, shoulders, stepped edges, and tight inside cuts. Its duplex design combines a rear rabbet plane position with a front bullnose-style position, giving woodworkers more control when working along board edges or into tighter areas. The full-width 1-1/2" cutter reaches into corners and shoulders to help form clean recesses, edge profiles, and joinery details. A one-piece cast iron body and handle provide a stable base for controlled hand-planing, while the adjustable fence helps guide straight, repeatable cuts from either side of the plane. The adjustable depth stop helps control the final cutting depth, and the scoring spur helps reduce tear-out when cutting across the grain.
